Jeff Bennett is a partner in the Portland law firm of Warren Allen LLP. A member of the Oregon, Washington and Idaho state bars, Mr. Bennett is the head of his firm's landlord law department, a Hearings Examiner for the Clackamas County Housing Authority, and a certified real estate education instructor. He has specialized in both residential and commercial landlord/tenant law for the past 25 years. His articles have appeared in The Business Journal, Apartments Northwest, and in other media, and Mr. Bennett is a frequent lecturer at regional landlord/tenant seminars.
Jeff Bennett represents many of the largest regional and national property management companies doing business in Oregon and Washington all the way down to owners of single family residential homes. He also represents a variety of commercial landlords with lease negotiations, evictions and possessory lien foreclosures. The remainder of Mr. Bennett's practice emphasizes business law, real estate, commercial litigation, and a variety of general civil matters.
Jeff Bennett's services include filing and prosecuting eviction actions (FEDs and unlawful detainers), designing and editing forms, creating effective notices, defending fair housing claims, educating landlords, and much more.
Outside of his law practice, Mr. Bennett is a past president of the East Portland Chamber of Commerce, has been on the Board of Directors for the Gresham Area Chambers of Commerce and is an author of numerous books and articles on whitewater rafting, kayaking and snowboarding.
Mr. Allen’s practice emphasizes business law, real estate and land use matters (including condominium development and homeowner associations). Mr. Allen also represents clients in all aspects of estate planning and probate matters
Mr. Rezvani's practice focuses on landlords' rights, business law, real estate law (including easements, boundary disputes, mortgage foreclosures and transactions), family law, probate disputes, creditor’s rights in bankruptcy, among other areas of law.
Mr. O'Hara retired in 2021 after 50 years of practice. During his tenure at Warren Allen, Mr. O'Hara headed the firm's personal injury practice, maintained an estate planning and probate practice, and mentored many of his successors. He still maintains a close relationship with the firm.
Mr. Kraus represents landlords in a wide variety of legal matters and is a frequent lecturer before regional landlords' organizations. Mr. Kraus also assists clients with business disputes, family law matters and general civil litigation matters.
Licensed in both Oregon and Washington, Mr. McCoy handles a variety of personal injury cases, including: motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, assault and battery, dog bites, police brutality, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
Ms. McCormack’s practice emphasizes landlords’ rights, real property and business disputes, bankruptcy, consumer law and employment law. She has appeared in state, tribal, and municipal courts, as well as administrative and appellate proceedings.
Mr. Tackett-Nelson is the head of Warren Allen LLP's land use law department and an integral part of the landlords' rights team. He also assists clients with contract and tort claims, real estate disputes and a variety of other civil matters.
Ms. Hennessey specializes in personal injury, family law, and civil litigation. Further, Ms. Hennessey lectures about small business strategies and assists local businesses with entity formations, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution.
Ty Taylor specializes in condominium development, real estate matters and contract disputes. He also assists clients with estate planning and other matters, and has an LLM in taxation.
Geoffrey Korol has worked for multiple state/federal judges, has a family background in property management, is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute’s Korean program and is a veteran of the United States Navy.
Melanie Rezvani’s early career covered criminal , probate and family law matters. She also successfully argued multiple appellate matters. Today, Ms. Rezvani represents many of the Northwest’s top property management and ownership groups.
A native Oregonian, Mr. Stromberg procured his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University School of Law, before going on to help clients with family law, personal injury, estate planning and landlord/tenant matters while at firms in Roseburg and Portland. He continues to specialize in those areas here at Warren Allen.
Nicole Lemieux assists clients in a range of personal injury matters and advocates for survivors who have suffered due to institutional abuse or neglect. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law and attended Oregon State University for her Bachelor of Science degree.
Mrs. Mackinnon graduated Cum Laude from Oregon State University before procuring her Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark Law School.
Prior to joining Warren Allen, Mrs. Mackinnon clerked for various civil litigation practices and the Clackamas County Circuit Court.
Jasmine Wang procured her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School after procuring a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of California. Prior to joining Warren Allen, Ms. Wang clerked for a well known California law firm and served as a mediator for the Orange County Human-Relations Commission.
